Abstract |
The article discusses the development of morphology in Azerbaijan in a historical aspect. The creation and establishment of the sub-department of Human Anatomy and Medical Terminology of Azerbaijan Medical University is described in detail; it is noted that many other educational and scientific divisions, which today can be combined as morphological, grew up on its basis. The history of the creation of the sub-department fully coincides with the beginning of modern higher education in the country. Particular emphasis is placed on the role of anatomical museums and the latest computer technologies in the training of modern medical personnel. The scientific achievements of the sub-department staff at the present stage are considered. |
